VACANCY NOTICE
Receptionist – Human Resources Department, Corporate Office (Harare) Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Receptionist. The successful candidate will be based at the RTG Corporate Office, Harare, within the Human Resources Department.  The position reports to the Human Resources Administrator.  PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Welcome and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls efficiently.
  • Maintain an accurate daily register of telephone calls and visitors.
  • Ensure the reception area is always clean, safe, and presentable.
  • Communicate and document any work area irregularities or requirements to ensure workflow continuity.
  • Sort, distribute, and manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor access to the Corporate Offices and ensure visitor protocols are followed.
 PERSON SPECIFICATION
  • HND/Diploma in Office Administration
  • At least one year working experience in a similar position

Summary  To oversee and manage the production of vegetables and other horticultural crops at RTG Agro farms in Nyanga and Kadoma, ensuring consistent supply of high -quality produce for RTG hotels across Zimbabwe. The role includes crop planning, production management, pest and disease control, and harvesting aligned with hospitality demand. Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage and monitor the full horticultural crop production cycle (nursery to harvest)
  • Ensure timely planting and harvesting to align with hotel consumption schedules.
  • Implement best agricultural practices including soil management , irrigation , crop rotation and organic farming where applicable.
  • Monitor and control pests and diseases and weeds using environmentally safe methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of input usage , production volumes and yields.
  • Coordinate with RTG hotels/procurement on vegetable requirements and delievery timelines.
