TENDAI MADZIWANYIKA
Chief Executive
Mr. Madziwanyika sits on the board of directors of Rainbow Tourism Group as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining RTG, Mr Madziwanyika held senior positions in the FMCG and hospitality industries including, being the Managing Director of a listed hospitality group in Zimbabwe. He is a past President of the Zimbabwe Council for Tourism. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science (B Compt.) from the University of South Africa and a Master of Business Administration (with distinction) from Hull University (United Kingdom).
NAPOLEON MTUKWA
Finance Director
Mr. Mtukwa sits on the board of Rainbow Tourism Group as Finance Director and Company Secretary. He has previously worked as Finance Manager for Rainbow Tourism Group. He is a fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and holds a Master of Business Administration (University of Zimbabwe) and an Honours Degree in Applied Accounting.
SHUPAI MARWARE
Commercial Director
Mr. Marware has leadership experience in hotel operations, sales & marketing and business development spanning over 15 years. He has extensive pan-African experience gained from Cresta Hotels (Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia) and African Sun Hotels (Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Nigeria, and Ghana). Mr. Marware has expertise in developing and growing regional (Africa) and international markets (North America, Europe and Asia) while participating in strategic and operational initiatives, market research & development and project appraisals. Shupai holds a Masters in Business Leadership (MBL) degree with the University of South Africa (UNISA), Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management (UZ), Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing Communications with the Institute of Marketing Management of South Africa (IMM) and an ACCA Diploma in Financial Management (DipFM; ACCA UK).
TICHAONA HWINGWIRI
Operations Director
Mr. Tichaona Hwingwiri is an expert hotelier with over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He has held the positions of Divisional Executive, Group Operations Executive, Operations Manager and General Manager with some of the country’s key players in the hospitality industry. He has experience at local, regional and international levels and has received extensive training in Dubai, Singapore and Australia, in areas of revenue management, brand standards and service excellence from the globally recognized Intercontinental Hotel Group who are the custodians of the Holiday Inn and Crown Plaza Brands. He is the holder of a Master’s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Zimbabwe with Distinctions in Strategic Management and Financial Management. Tichaona graduated with Higher National Diploma from Bulawayo School of Hotel Management in 1996. He is the ccurrent President of the Zimbabwe Council for Tourism.
LAURENCE DHEMBA
Human Resources Director
Laurence Dhemba is the current Human Resources Director for the Company. He has over 10 years’ experience in Human Resource Management including being the Company’s Group Human Resources & Administration Manager for over 5 years. During this time, Laurence won the Hotels Association of Zimbabwe (HAZ) Mischeck Manyuma’s Best Manpower Development Award in 2017. He has worked for Skie Gems (Pvt) Ltd, Proficiency Consulting Group International and Zimplats (Pvt) Limited.
Laurence holds a Masters in Strategic Management & Corporate Governance as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management Degree both from the Midlands State University. He is a member of the Institute of People Management in Zimbabwe.
SAMSON CHITSATO
Head: Risk and Internal Audit
Mr. Chitsato has over 15 years of experience in internal audit and risk management. He has worked for OK Zimbabwe limited, Thomas Meikles Retail Group and Starafrica Corporation in various management levels in internal audit shops and finance departments. Mr. Chitsato is a certified Internal Auditor and he holds a Master of Science degree in Audit Management and Consultancy from Birmingham City University and he is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Zimbabwe
TAPIWA MARI
Company secretary
Tapiwa Mari is a registered legal practitioner. He has over 8 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law, having handled various transactions. Tapiwa holds a LLBS Honours from the University of Zimbabwe and a Masters Degree in Corporate Law from UNISA.
