RECEPTIONIST CASHIER X 1
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the position of Receptionist Cashier at Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel.
Reporting to : Front Office Supervisor.
Location : Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Taking guest reservations, checking in and checking out guests and conducting cashiering functions.
- Maintaining guest accounts, updating guest profiles, transferring city ledger to accounts receivable and ensuring guest history accounts are kept current
- Attending to guests and guest enquiries, interacting with guests and collecting guest feedback.
- Taking note of guests special needs and communicating accordingly
- Holder of a Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent
- Knowledge of Opera system is a requirement
- At least 1-2 years’ relevant experience in a similar post
- Yield management and sales skills an added advantage
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- High level of attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Reporting to : Accountant

The ideal candidate should have the following requirements;
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Preparing Customer’s invoices.
- Dispatching Customer invoices
- Preparing and reconciliation of Customer Accounts.
- Generating Debtors’ reports.
- Tracking and collection of debts.
- Maintaining and management of Debtors’ records
- Effective and efficient tracking and collection of all debts
- Preparation of month-end receivable accounts
- Holder of a Degree in Accounting or HND in Accounting.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar post, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Working knowledge of Accpac and an appreciation of Opera property management system.

BARMAN
Introduction

Reporting

- Ordering and monitoring of bar stocks
- Preparing and serving of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as required.
- Promoting service excellence and ability to upsell, cross-sell and suggestive selling to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring and replenishment of bar stocks.
- Collection of payments from guests.
- Controlling of bar stocks through conducting stock takes.
