VACANCY NOTICE
Receptionist – Human Resources Department, Corporate Office (Harare)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Receptionist. The successful candidate will be based at the RTG Corporate Office, Harare, within the Human Resources Department.

 The position reports to the Human Resources Administrator.

 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls efficiently.
  • Maintain an accurate daily register of telephone calls and visitors.
  • Ensure the reception area is always clean, safe, and presentable.
  • Communicate and document any work area irregularities or requirements to ensure workflow continuity.
  • Sort, distribute, and manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor access to the Corporate Offices and ensure visitor protocols are followed.

 PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • HND/Diploma in Office Administration
  • At least one year working experience in a similar position
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of switchboard operation
  • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • A person of unquestionable integrity
  • Customer care orientation and organizational commitment
  • Well groomed, dependable and a team player
