  BULAWAYO RAINBOW HOTEL    FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR   Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR at Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel.   Reporting to               :           Front Office Manager Location                     :           Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel   The ideal candidate should have the following requirements; PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manages and supervises departmental duties
• Performs departmental inspections.
• Regular training of departmental staff.
• Compiling and analyzing various reports relevant to the department.
• Supervises lobby activities to ensure efficient guests arrival experience
• Ensures functionality of all systems and equipment at the front desk.
• Resolves guests’ complaints ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Maintenance of effective controls at the reception area.

  PERSON SPECIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES

• The candidate should have the following:
• Degree in Hospitality and Tourism or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in Front Office and Housekeeping departments
• Working knowledge of OPERA property management system
• Good planning, organizing and communication skills
• Must have good public relations skills and be assertive.

 Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill the position of STOREMAN at Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel. Reporting to: Accountant Location: Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel  The ideal candidate should have the following requirements; PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Initiating purchase requests to guide the purchasing team on reorder quantities.
• Communicating with central procurement on the Units’ requirements.
• Managing stock levels and re-order levels.
• Receiving and securing all stock items.
• Issue out all requested stock items by departments.
• Posting invoices and creating system GRVs.
• Facilitate inspection of stocks for quality and fitness for purpose.
• Tracking expiry dates and liaising with user departments

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES The candidate should have the following:

• National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement and stores.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the ACCPAC system.
• Should be an assertive person of unquestionable integrity.
