Introduction

Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Chef de Partie

and the successful candidate will be based at Rainbow Towers Hotel.

The position reports to the Head Chef.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the specialty section
• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
• Assisting with the management of health and safety
• Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
• Managing and training any Commis Chefs
• Monitoring portion and waste control
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• National Certificate in Culinary Arts/ Professional Cookery.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the Industry.
• High level of attention to detail
• Knowledge and ability to run a section
• Highly motivated and works with minimum supervision.
• High levels of innovation and creativity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
