Restaurant Cashier

Introduction
Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Restaurant Cashier .The successful candidate will be based at Montclair Resort and Conference

The position reports to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Timeous preparation for service.
• Attending to guests and taking correct orders.
• Managing cash and sales transactions in dining facilities.
• Monitoring daily reconciliations of bills and ensure bills are correctly posted after shift.
• Interacting with guests and collecting feedback.
• Promoting service excellence.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Holder of Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
• At least 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar post.
• Demonstrable planning and customer care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, honesty and ability to work with minimal supervision are pre – requisites.
