HANDYMAN

Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of HANDYMAN at Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel.

Reporting to               :           Maintenance Supervisor

Location                     :           Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel

The ideal candidate should have the following requirements;

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Maintaining the workshop clean.
• Conducting hotel inspections for malfunctioning equipment.
• Providing first line of support in maintenance.
• Monitor hotel fire equipment and storerooms.
• Cleaning of plant rooms.

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES

The candidate should have the following:

• 5 O’ levels including English
• At least Class 3 trade tested Electrician
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• A good interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative skills at all levels
• A pleasant personality and ability to communicate well with staff, customers, and related stakeholders.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision is a pre-requisite.
