
Front Office Porter

Introduction
Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Front Office Porter and the successful candidate will be based at The Rainbow Towers Hotel.
The position reports to the Front Office Supervisor.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Update the hotel information board or TV monitor
• Prepare welcome beverages
• Organise adequate stationery is at the reception
• Go through the departures list in preparation for check out
• Induct guests on hotel and room facilities/ rooming upon check in
• Receiving and delivering luggage at reception
• Receiving and attending guest requests, complaints and queries and escalating them to relevant parties
• Update the logbook in the luggage room
• Offer Valet services
• Distribute newspapers as per guest ledger
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• At least 5 O’ Levels including English language
• Certificate in Front Office operations.
• At least 2 years’ experience in the Industry.
• High level of attention to detail
• Customer Service Orientation
• Highly motivated and works with minimum supervision.
• High levels of innovation and creativity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
