FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Food and Beverage Supervisor Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel.

 

Reporting to                     :              Food and Beverage Manager

Location                             :              Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel

 

The ideal candidate should have the following requirements;

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee operations in the restaurant, functions and all outlets.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts.
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
  • Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Holder of HND in Tourism and Hospitality or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience at least 2 years in a similar position.
  • Extensive Food and Beverages knowledge.
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
  • Good financial management skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skill.
