FOOD AND BEVERAGES SUPERVISOR
Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Food and Beverages Supervisor Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel.
Reporting to : Food and Beverages Manager
Location : Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel
The ideal candidate should have the following requirements;
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee operations in the restaurant, functions and all outlets.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
- Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales.
PERSON SPECIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES
- Holder of HND in Tourism and Hospitality or equivalent.
- Proven work experience at least 2 years in a similar position.
- Extensive Food and Beverages knowledge.
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
- Good financial management skills.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skill.
