Executive Chef

Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill the position of Executive Chef. The successful candidate will be based in the Food Preparation Department at Rainbow Towers Hotel.
The position reports to the General Manager
Responsibilities include:
Lead and supervise the entire kitchen brigade across all outlets.
Plan, design, and implement menus for restaurants, buffets, room service, and banqueting.
Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation to brand and guest expectations.
Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP compliance).
Monitor food costs, portion control, and inventory to achieve budget targets.
Conduct training, coaching, and performance evaluations for kitchen staff.
Coordinate with the F&B Manager to implement promotions, seasonal menus, and special events.
Oversee procurement of ingredients and maintain supplier relationships.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Job Specification
Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-volume hotel.
At least 3 years in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and international cuisine.
Proven experience in menu engineering, cost control, and kitchen management.
HACCP certification is an advantage.
