Introduction

Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Waiter/Waitress. The successful candidate will be based at Rainbow Towers Hotel.

The position reports to the Food & Beverage Supervisor.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:            

• Accurate taking of guests orders
• Preparation of tables by setting up linen, silverware and glasses
• Up-selling of additional products where appropriate
• Serving of food and drink orders
• Delivery of checks and collection of bill payments
• Clearing of tables
• Collection of guests’ feedback

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Minimum 5’O’ levels
• National Certificate in Food and Beverage Services or Equivalent
• At least 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a similar post.
• Demonstrable planning and customer care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail, honesty and ability to work with minimal supervision are pre – requisites.
