Introduction
Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Junior Chef. The successful candidate will be based at Rainbow Towers Hotel.
The position reports to the Head Chef.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production of high quality food according to standard recipes
- Assists with the preparation, presentation, decoration and storage of variety of dishes.
- Serving of food to guests and collection of guest’s feedback.
- Maintains a clean and hygienic work area.
- Managing costs through innovative cooking methods.
- Adheres to effective practices of Health and Safety standards in the Kitchen
- Comply with BOP and general kitchen standards at all times.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- National Certificate in Culinary Arts/ Professional Cookery.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the Industry.
- Highly motivated and works with minimum supervision.
- High levels of innovation and creativity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
