BUILDER X 1

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the position of Builder at Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel.

Reporting to                                    :              Maintenance Supervisor.

Location                                            :              Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel

 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Order, inspect, and manage building materials,
• Read and understand architectural drawings, structural layouts, and technical blueprints.
• Dig ground levels, lay foundations, construct load-bearing walls, and set up framing or concrete slabs
• Perform core building tasks such as bricklaying, carpentry, roofing, insulation, soundproofing, and waterproofing
• Monitor project timelines, handle on-site problem-solving, and communicate progress updates to Management.

Person Specification and desirable attributes

• Must have 5 Ordinary level passes
• National certificate in Building Technology/ Carpentry & Joinery/ Construction Technology
• Must be traded tested in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years practical working experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings/plans, site supervision, and quality control.
