FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Food and Beverage Manager for Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel.
Reporting to : General Manager
Location : Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel
The ideal candidate should have the following requirements;
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Plan for the department.
• Participate in budget formulation
• Implement the Food and Beverage budget.
• Supervise departmental processes.
• Oversee service delivery in all Food and Beverage outlets.
• Attend to Food and Beverage related guest issues.
• Handle human resources issues in the Food and Beverage department.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Manage outlets good image and suggest ways of improvement.
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
• Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales.
PERSON SPECIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES
• Degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management
• A Master’s Degree programme in Business Management an added advantage
• Professional qualification in business management or leadership an added advantage
• 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory level in Food and Beverage
• Class 4 Drivers license a must.
