ELECTRICIAN

Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill the position of Electrician for Rainbow Tourism Group, and the successful candidate will be based in the Maintenance Department at Rainbow Towers Hotel on a 3 months short term contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance and operational needs.

The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities include:
 Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within the hotel premises
 Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects
 Perform routine preventive maintenance on generators, lighting, DB boards, and other systems
 Troubleshoot electrical faults and respond promptly to breakdowns
 Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and hotel standards
 Maintain records of maintenance work and report major issues to management
 Support energy efficiency initiatives and safe power usage practices

Job Specification
 Class 1 Journeyman Electrician or equivalent recognized qualification
 At least 2–5 years of hands-on experience
 Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures
 Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
 Ability to work with minimal supervision
 Good communication and teamwork skills
