Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill in the position of Reservationist

Reporting to:                       Front Office Supervisor                       

Location:                              Azambezi River Lodge

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements;

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Helps develop room revenue and room forecasts.
• Tracks future room availability on the basis of reservations.
• Process reservations by mail, telephone and central reservations systems referral.
• Handle enquiries and sell hotel facilities.
• Actively participate in yield management.
• Communicate reservations information to Front desk.
• Prepares reservations report.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:

• National Diploma or Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
• At least three years’ experience in a similar position.
• Computer literacy and strong working knowledge of Opera Property Management System.
• Proven negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Working experience in sales and hospitality management.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
