{"id":9407,"date":"2024-11-08T10:14:46","date_gmt":"2024-11-08T10:14:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rtgafrica.com\/careers\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=9407"},"modified":"2024-11-15T00:00:41","modified_gmt":"2024-11-15T00:00:41","slug":"storeman-3","status":"closed","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/rtgafrica.com\/careers\/jobs\/storeman-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Storeman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u00a0STOREMAN <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Storeman<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>for Rainbow Tourism Group and the successful candidate will be based in the\u00a0Finance Department at\u00a0Rainbow Towers Hotel and ICC Harare.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>The position reports to the Food and Beverages Controller. <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Responsibilities Include: <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiating purchase requests to guide purchasing team on reorder quantities.<\/li>\n<li>Manage stock levels and re-order levels to avoid stock-outs<\/li>\n<li>Receive and secure all stock items.<\/li>\n<li>Issue out all requested stock items by departments.<\/li>\n<li>Posting Bulk Stock Requisitions in Accpac system or any other system that will be in use.<\/li>\n<li>Inspection of stocks for quality, fitness for purpose and expiry dates.<\/li>\n<li>Control of stocks ensuring that no stocks expire unnecessarily.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>Job Specifications <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The candidate should have the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.<\/li>\n<li>At least one-year relevant experience in procurement and stores.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ACCPAC system and Materials Control.<\/li>\n<li>Should be an assertive person of unquestionable integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0STOREMAN Introduction Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Storeman\u00a0for Rainbow Tourism Group and the successful candidate will be based in the\u00a0Finance Department at\u00a0Rainbow Towers Hotel and ICC Harare.
