{"id":6776,"date":"2024-02-15T09:38:49","date_gmt":"2024-02-15T09:38:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rtgafrica.com\/careers\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=6776"},"modified":"2024-02-23T00:29:55","modified_gmt":"2024-02-23T00:29:55","slug":"assistant-food-and-beverage-controller","status":"closed","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/rtgafrica.com\/careers\/jobs\/assistant-food-and-beverage-controller\/","title":{"rendered":"Assistant Food and Beverage Controller"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill-in the vacancy of <strong>Assistant Food and Beverage Controller <\/strong>for Rainbow Towers Hotel &amp; ICC.<\/p>\n<p><b>Reporting to\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Food and Beverages Controller.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Location\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Rainbow Towers, Harare.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>PRINCIPAL DUTIES: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct bars daily stocktaking, compute the results so as to manage shortages \/surplus in the bars.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all stock take results are distributed to management.<\/li>\n<li>Spot-check fridges and freezers in kitchens, bars and stores to ensure that stocks are being accounted for properly.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts F&amp;B float and Cash checks at random and submit reports to management.<\/li>\n<li>Compute all operating expenses on a weekly basis, compare with budgets and advise management accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Ensure stock takes are conducted so as to determine daily and month to date cost of sales percentages.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse all purchases done from time to time and query and investigate any anomalies.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all invoices being brought for processing from stores have all necessary supporting documents.<\/li>\n<li>Production of Cost of sales flash reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PERSON SPECIFICATION AND REQUISITE ATTRIBUTES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cost Accounting biased degree or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years\u2019 experience in a busy city property or FMCG<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of OPERA, ACCPAC, Micros POS and materials control systems<\/li>\n<li>Superior analytical and investigative skills.<\/li>\n<li>Should be an assertive person of unquestionable integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill-in the vacancy of Assistant Food and Beverage Controller for Rainbow Towers Hotel &amp; ICC.
