Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Receptionist Cashier for Rainbow Tourism Group, and the successful candidate will be based in the Front Office Department at Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel.<\/p>\n
The position reports to Front Office Supervisor.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities Include:
\n\u2022 Attending to guests and guest enquiries, interacting with guests and collecting guest feedback.
\n\u2022 Taking note of guests special needs and communicating accordingly
\n\u2022 Taking guest reservations, checking in and checking out guests and conducting cashiering functions.
\n\u2022 Maintaining guest accounts, updating guest profiles, transferring city ledger to accounts receivable and ensuring guest history accounts are kept current.
\n\u2022 Must be knowledgeable about the hotel`s emergency procedures
\n\u2022 Must be knowledgeable about keys to the city<\/p>\n
Job Specifications
\n\u2022 The candidate should have the following:
\n\u2022 Higher National Diploma \/ National Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
\n\u2022 Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\u2022 Hands-on experience with the Opera system.
\n\u2022 1 year experience in a similar position.
\n\u2022 Ability to work under minimum supervision.
\n\u2022 Organizational commitment and dedication.
