Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill the position of Storeman for Rainbow Tourism Group, and the successful candidates will be based in the Finance Department at Rainbow Towers Hotel.<\/p>\n
The position reports to the Food & Beverages Controller. <\/p>\n
Responsibilities Include:
\n\uf076\tManage stock levels and re-order levels.
\n\uf076\tConducting regular stock counts and assisting with stock take.
\n\uf076\tInitiating purchase requests to guide the purchasing team on re-order quantities.
\n\uf076\tIssuing stock strictly in accordance with approved requisitions
\n\uf076\tMaintaining up-to-date bin cards and stock records
\n\uf076\tEnsuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and hygiene standards
\n\uf076\tInspect stocks for quality, fitness for purpose and expiry dates.
\n\uf076\tControl of stocks ensuring that no stocks expire unnecessarily.<\/p>\n
Job Specifications
\nThe candidate should have the following:
\n\uf076\tNational Diploma in Purchasing and Supply
\n\uf076\tKnowledge of Materials Control
\n\uf076\tAt least 2 years\u2019 relevant experience in procurement and stores
\n\uf076\tAttention to detail, honesty and ability to work with minimal supervision
\n\uf076\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n\uf076\tShould be an assertive person of unquestionable integrity. <\/p>\n
