ASSISTANT FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONTROLLER X 1
\nIntroduction
\nApplications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Assistant Food and Beverage Controller and the successful candidate will be based at The Rainbow Towers Hotel & HICC.
\nThe position reports to the Food and Beverage Controller.
\nPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\u2022\tConduct daily bars stocktakes.
\n\u2022\tMonth end and annual stocktaking
\n\u2022\t Spot-check fridges and freezers in kitchens, bars and stores to ensure that stocks are being accounted for properly.
\n\u2022\t Conducts float and Cash spot-checks.
\n\u2022\t Compute all operating expenses on a weekly basis, compare with budgets and advise management accordingly.
\n\u2022\t Daily and month end cost of sales percentages computation.
\n\u2022\t Analyse all purchases done from time to time with a view to positively influence cost of sales
\n\u2022\t Ensure all invoices being captured have required supporting documents.
\n\u2022\t Production of Cost of sales flash reports as and when required.
\n\u2022\tProducts and services costing
\nPERSON SPECIFICATION
\n\u2022\tCost Accounting biased degree or equivalent
\n\u2022\t1-2 years\u2019 experience in a busy city hotel or FMCG
\n\u2022\tWorking knowledge of OPERA, ACCPAC, Micros POS and materials control systems
\n\u2022\tSuperior analytical and investigative skills.
