ELECTRICIAN<\/p>\n
Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill the position of Electrician for Rainbow Tourism Group, and the successful candidate will be based in the Maintenance Department at Rainbow Towers Hotel on a 3 months short term contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance and operational needs.<\/p>\n
The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include:
\n\uf076\tCarry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within the hotel premises
\n\uf076\tInspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects
\n\uf076\tPerform routine preventive maintenance on generators, lighting, DB boards, and other systems
\n\uf076\tTroubleshoot electrical faults and respond promptly to breakdowns
\n\uf076\tEnsure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and hotel standards
\n\uf076\tMaintain records of maintenance work and report major issues to management
\n\uf076\tSupport energy efficiency initiatives and safe power usage practices<\/p>\n
Job Specification
\n\uf076\tClass 1 Journeyman Electrician or equivalent recognized qualification
\n\uf076\tAt least 2\u20135 years of hands-on experience
\n\uf076\tStrong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures
\n\uf076\tStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
\n\uf076\tAbility to work with minimal supervision
\n\uf076\tGood communication and teamwork skills<\/p>\n
