The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include:
\n\uf076\tInspect and assess the condition of wooden structures and recommend solutions.
\n\uf076\tPerform repairs and maintenance on wooden furniture, fixtures, and fittings across the hotel.
\n\uf076\tDelivering quality workmanship within deadlines
\n\uf076\tFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
\n\uf076\tRespond promptly to maintenance requests from different hotel departments.<\/p>\n
Job Specification
\n\uf076\tCarpentry and Joinery skills (Skilled Carpenter and Joinery class 1\/ 2)
\n\uf076\tCertificate or diploma in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification.
\n\uf076\tMinimum 2\u20133 years of carpentry experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
\n\uf076\tKnowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in carpentry and repair work.
\n\uf076\tAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
