Guest Service Agent<\/p>\n
Introduction
\nApplications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Guest Service Agent and the successful candidate will be based at Rainbow Towers Hotel and ICC Harare.<\/p>\n
Reporting
\nThe position reports to the Front Office Supervisor.<\/p>\n
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n\u2022\tTaking guests\u2019 reservations, checking in and checking out guests.
\n\u2022\tConducting cashiering functions.
\n\u2022\tMaintaining guest accounts, updating guest profiles, transferring city ledger to accounts receivable and ensuring guest history accounts are kept current.
\n\u2022\tAttending to guests\u2019 enquiries, interacting with guests, and collecting guest feedback.
\n\u2022\tTaking note of guests\u2019 special needs and communicating accordingly
\n Person Specification & Attributes
\n\u2022\tHolder of a Higher National Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent
\n\u2022\tKnowledge of Opera system is a requirement.
\n\u2022\tAt least 1 -2 years\u2019 relevant experience in a similar post
\n\u2022\tYield management and sales skills an added advantage.
\n\u2022\tAbility to work under minimum supervision.
\n\u2022\tHigh level of attention to detail
