{"id":13588,"date":"2025-03-11T15:10:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T15:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rtgafrica.com\/careers\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=13588"},"modified":"2025-03-20T00:03:41","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T00:03:41","slug":"call-centre-agent-x-2","status":"closed","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/rtgafrica.com\/careers\/jobs\/call-centre-agent-x-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Call Centre Agent x 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Call Centre Agent x 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Call Centre Agent and the successful candidate will be based at The Rainbow Towers Hotel and ICC, Harare.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting<\/strong><br \/>\nThe position reports to the Customer Service Manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Core Customer Service &amp; Communication:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Handling inquiries and responding to customers via phones, emails and WhatsApp.<br \/>\n\u2022 Processing and confirming bookings for accommodation, food (Eats), and groceries etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Directing customer inquiries to appropriate departments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assisting customers with account updates, passwords recovery, and username retrieval.<br \/>\n\u2022 Sharing promotional specials and upcoming events information.<br \/>\n\u2022 Generating quotations for various channels, including international offices.<br \/>\n\u2022 Taking shuttle requests and forwarding them to the relevant departments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Booking &amp; Order Processing:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Contacting clients to confirm bookings and ensure legitimacy.<br \/>\n\u2022 Sending booking details to hotels and confirming client check-ins.<br \/>\n\u2022 Forwarding orders to regional teams, noting special requests, and managing payment processes (including payment link distribution).<br \/>\n\u2022 Following up on order progress and providing updates to clients.<br \/>\n\u2022 Making bookings on behalf of clients who encounter website\/app challenges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Revenue &amp; Reporting:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Calling hotels to verify client check-ins and updating the revenue report accordingly.<br \/>\n\u2022 Sending daily revenue reports to the Accounts Manager and Accommodation Channel Manager.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assigning orders to relevant regions for third-party costing and monthly revenue capture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Person Specification &amp; Attributes<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Holder of a Higher National Diploma in IT or Marketing Communication or equivalent<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of Microsoft is a requirement.<br \/>\n\u2022 At least 1 -2 years\u2019 relevant experience in a similar post<br \/>\n\u2022 Yield management and sales skills an added advantage.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work under minimum supervision.<br \/>\n\u2022 High level of attention to detail<br \/>\n\u2022 Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Call Centre Agent x 2 Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Call Centre Agent and the successful candidate will be based at The Rainbow Towers Hotel and ICC, Harare.
